Knowledge about knowledge : knowledge management in organizations (2008)
AbstractThis monograph is a compilation of papers written by students majoring in Communication and Information Studies or in Library and Information Science at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, during the spring semester 2008. Graduate students studied the traditional KM theories, discussed controversial issues, and gave presentations that demonstrated the relationship between knowledge and decision making. In consultation with the course instructor, students identified a topic related to knowledge management that they wanted to study in depth. The resulting essays focus on theoretical aspects of KM or on real-world applications of knowledge processes.
